| Hôtel très calme, confortable, (sauf le rideau de douche ! comment peut-on encore mettre des rideaux de douche dans un hôtel soi-disant haut de gamme !) mais restaurant bien cher pour le prix, d'autant que, si la cuisine est correcte et le service agréable, l'endroit est très bas de gamme, on se croirait dans la cantine d'un hôtel à 29 euros la nuit... Donc, hôtel oui, resto non, sauf pour dépanner si on a le portefeuille. |

| Hôtel calme, chambre propre mais quel dommage qu'il y ait un rideau de douche ! A ce niveau d'hôtellerie ce n'est pas terrible.
Petit bémol sur le restaurant : cadre loin d'être idyllique (on se croirait dans une chaîne bas de gamme), cuisine correcte mais très chère, service agréable. Bref, un rapport cadre/qualité/prix plutôt mauvais. |

| Je ne peux pas répondre aux questions ci-dessus n’ayant pas moi-même séjourné dans cet hôtel; en revanche c’est moi qui ai réservé pour les membres de ma famille et ils ont été surpris à l’accueil qu’on leur dise qu’il n’y avait que 2 chambres réservées. Heureusement qu’ils avaient en leur possession la confirmation de ma réservation.....
l’évaluation n’a donc aucune valeur mais je tenais à vous signaler “l’incident” car en plus à la réception on leur a fait la remarque "d’une réservation en ligne” ce qui ne leur plaît pas a priori. |

| The hotel is perfectly located en route from
Barcelona to the UK via Calais. The facilities met all our needs. We were travelling with our dog and the benefit of this hotel is that dogs are permitted to stay in the rooms. The rooms all have an anti-chamber comprising lobby and Toilet which is the ideal place for the dog to sleep. It keeps him separated from the bedroom and provides him with water to drink if required. Further, there are access doors from the corridor to outside parking so there is never a need to walk the dog (however well behaved) through the Reception area. The hotel grounds are large enough to excercise the dog and there are plenty of dog bins in the grounds.
The bedrooms are large and well funished with international TV available. The bathrooms are similarly well eqipped, and most importantly, function! There is also a mini bar and facilities for making Tea and Coffee.
The restaurant perhaps offers more than it delivers but nonetheless a reasonable meal can be obtained. Breakfast, however, is 'do-it-yourself' and coffee is not the best that the French can deliver, though certainly better than the average American hotel!
All in all we will continue to use the Novotel on our journies to and from Barcelona |

| The hotel functioned very well. The grounds were a great benefit to exercise our dog, though we had to be careful not to let the doors close behind us or we would only re-gain access via the main entrance.We left our i-phone at the Reception and the hotel were very efficient in forwarding that to our U.K. address.
The only down side was the slow service for dinner in the Restaurant. With 4 people serving there should have been no problem but it took one and a half hours to get throiugh dinner. Our judgement was the problem lay in the burocratic process rather than human ineptitude. The staff certainly semd to try hard but were not enjoying their work! |

| We stayed here on the way down to the South. It was like an oasis after a long journey for the whole family. My son only wants to stay in Novotels from now on! Friendly/welcoming customer service, great pool, and superb breakfast. Only quibble would be the evening meal (adult), which was very mediocre for the price. Kids liked theirs though. |

| This also refers to our overnight stay on 11th August 2011.
Although some ratings were good, the overall 3 rating reflected the poor restaurant staff at both dinner and breakfast. My wife and I had to wait 45 minutes for our main dinner course. While both of our starters were very good and my wife's main course was good, my fish main course was dry which affected the taste having obviously been kept warm for too long. I advised Reception when booking out and our bill was adjusted when we returned for our 16th August 2011 overnight stay.
Althought dinner on the 16th was improved, a young girl dropped her plate of fruit (?) at breakfast the following morning.
The breakfast staff did nothing to help even though they had time to do so.
Overall, it was obvious that too few staff were being utilised between the Bar area and the Restaurant. This caused the Bar area to be unattended for periods of time.
It is appreciated that staffing can be a problem, but after long journeys it is reasonable for the guests to expect good service.
We have stayed at this hotel before, with good results. It was a shame that it caused disappointment on these two occasions. Hopefully, these problems can be resolved for the future. |

| The facilities in this hotel were such that my two boys (10&8) did not want to leave! They had a great time. The food was very good and the room comfortable and clean. There were a lot of activities: tennis, ping pong, playstation (in the lobby) and the pool. The hotel is a short drive into the city of Orleans which is very beautiful. |
